Please read these Terms carefully. By accessing or using this Site, the customer acknowledges that it/he/she has read, understand, and agree, without limitation or restriction, to D&D’s Terms and Conditions of Sale when purchasing from D&D and understands that D&D sells preowned items.

Terms and conditions of sale

  • Items will not be shipped/delivered before the full balance of the entire order has been settled in full and reflected in D&D’s bank account and/or paid in cash.
  • Prices are charged in South African Rands (ZAR)
  • All prices advertised are fixed and non-negotiable.
  • If you import our items from outside South Africa, you are solely responsible for freight and customs duties.
  • Items can be returned within 7 days of purchase for a credit or exchange (your choice), ensuring the piece has been unused and in the same condition it was sold in.
  • The absolute risk in and to the goods passes to the customer upon collection/delivery thereof.
  • Fully paid orders must be collected within 2 to 3 business days, otherwise, the right of return cannot be guaranteed.
  • Orders that are not fully paid within the 7 days after reservation thereof will be canceled.

WARRANTY

Due to the nature of its business, D&D provides no warranties, unless the goods purchased have an existing warranty from the original manufacturer.

MANUFACTURER WARRANTY

In some circumstances, D&D is able to pass along a dealer-stamped warranty card, in which case the goods purchased will be covered by the manufacturer’s stated warranty. When the manufacturer’s warranty is included with any purchases, warranty service shall be handled directly between the customer and the manufacturer.

PAYMENT

Please note that when making payment via electronic funds transfer (EFT) the correct reference is to be reflected on the transfer and failure to include the correct payment reference may result in delayed or incorrect payment allocation, and D&D cannot be held responsible for any resulting cancellation of quotes/orders.
Failure to pay the agreed deposit by the customer may lead to the cancellation of the order.
Fully paid orders, if not being delivered, must be collected within 7 days, failing which the right of return cannot be guaranteed.

  • Cash (in-store only)
  • Credit Card (Visa, Mastercard, American Express (in-store only))
  • EFT (Electronic Fund Transfer) & bank transfers (proof of payment must be provided)

DELIVERY / CONTACT

  • The customer is required, by law under the Second-Hand Goods Act, Act 6 of 2009, to provide D&D with their full name and contact details. Failure to provide these details may result in order cancellation.
  • All prices exclude shipping both domestically (within South Africa) as well as internationally. You (the customer) indemnify D&D (Pty) Ltd against any third-party (courier) delays.
  • All delivery times quoted are approximate and subject to change prior to delivery. If, for any reason, delivery is delayed, we do not accept liability for any consequential loss, but we will arrange a new date for delivery as soon as possible.
  • All deliveries must be signed for and checked by the customer. Any claim regarding missing packages or damaged items must be made within 24 hours of receipt of goods, by telephone, followed by a written confirmation. Inspection of the packaging must be done, and should damage to the packaging be visible, a note must be made on the delivery note/waybill. Photographs must be taken of any damaged products on delivery.
  • Risk shall pass to the customer upon delivery/collection.
